Favorite Spring Flower Arrangements

Spring changes the game and most significantly, my mood. I have been an orb of positivity lately, filled with a brand new vibrancy and energy, all thanks to the weather. I wasn’t able to travel home this past weekend for Mother’s Day, so my parents made the drive to Hoboken and spent the day here with me on Saturday. We dedicated our time to delicious meals and redecorating the back garden patio of my house.

Before their visit, I woke up early to meditate and then I walked around the corner to one of my favorite little shops that literally sells everything. I ended up buying two bouquets of white tulips, my absolute favorite floral arrangement.

You’ve probably heard each color of tulips is associated with its own meaning. White tulips mean forgiveness. If seeking to apologize, it is prudent to buy someone white tulips. I love the idea that white tulips represent a fresh start, a new beginning. Is that not what forgiveness is: starting afresh?

So now that Spring has sprung, I will definitely be making more trips to BB Gourmet, the little shop where I bought my tulips. They also have gorgeous arrangements of hydrangeas — blue, purple, or white are usually my favorite. I’m also really looking forward to buying a bouquet of peonies. Lately, I have been seeing peonies all over social media, so I can’t wait to bring some of that pink freshness from my iPhone screen to the house.
