The Best No-Carve Pumpkin Inspiration

Have you ever noticed ’round this time of year every single blogger, social media curator, and their mother wants to bombard your timeline with “one-of-a-kind,” DIY pumpkin ideas? Before you click off this page, I promise you, I’m writing this blog post because PureWow‘s curation of pumpkin inspiration hits the nail right on the head. It deserves to be shared.

We’ve all seen the glitter-dipped pumpkin. And the colorful thumbtack pumpkin. But thanks to PureWow, there is at least one unique assortment of pumpkin decorating ideas, no knives, scoopers, or any kind of blunt object required. I especially love the ideas that used other elements of nature: like writing letters with succulents or decoupaging leaves onto white gourds.

I’m not yet sure how I’m planning on decorating my pumpkin this year. The adorable little guy is currently sitting on my fireplace, either waiting to be destroyed in the name of arts and crafts or quietly praying I leave it be in its god-given skin. Maybe I’ll go on a walk this weekend and collect a bunch of leaves to decoupage it with?

How are you decorating your pumpkin this fall? Let me know in the comments below!
